How do you prepare to shoot your first video? Ask a pro!

The 2012 JEA/NSPA Fall Convention was a real eye-opening and amazing experience. This was my first time attending the convention with students, and my first time presenting a full plate of broadcast journalism sessions with some amazing teachers. Our hope is that the momentum that has been created to implement more broadcasting coverage in our student publications continues.

With that in mind, I was ecstatic to read a recent article in blend magazine from a great resource, Lindsay Grome. Lindsay is the Director of Community Engagement at the National Scholastic Press Association, and she offers some wonderful, easy to follow, simple suggestions for all of us who are preparing to shoot our first videos.

How to Shoot your First Video

Keep the videos coming and let us know how we can support you.

Good luck!
