What is your name?

Please describe your podcast and why you thought it would be a good topic to have a podcast on.
Our podcast is all about the “Tea” of high school. All the monthly gossip that people are talking about gets featured and we give our opinions and advice. We thought it would be good to have a podcast on the gossip because it gives people a platform to share there opinions without fear of judgement. It also allows for advice to be given to those who maybe are struggling with a situation.

How has the podcast changed since the first show? What are some things you’ve learned and done to make it better?
Our biggest change has been with quality and co hosts. The camera quality was not good in our pilot episode, but we learned that filming on DSLR’s is a better way to go. Our co host just didn’t have the commitment to the show which is why we had to find someone new.

What tools do you use to record, edit and publish your podcast?
Canon 80D’s, lav mics, and premiere pro.

What advice do you have for others looking to make a podcast?
Find a niche and stick with it. So many topics are out there that it’s hard to choose a single one. But taking time to narrow your niche can really help the audience understand the vibe of the podcast.
