Please describe your podcast and why you thought it would be a good topic to have a podcast on.
My podcast is called The Joystick Podcast, and is a personal show running under a main show, the Tempest Radio and Podcast. The Joystick Podcast is a podcast bringing you the best in gaming and tech news, discussions, and reviews. It is a student publication covering new and innovative gaming and tech in the industry as it pertains to the student body in my high school and area.

How has the podcast changed since the first show? What are some things you’ve learned and done to make it better?
My podcast has really changed for the better! I’ve learned to really put my personal opinions into my work regardless of other points of views. I’ve become more confident in speaking, which is the key factor of making a quality podcast! The show itself has covered many different tech and gaming topics, and I keep adding more to keep it fresh and enjoyable to the listener. My show has really become my baby, a show that I can express my hobbies like my favorite app games to win real money, and most importantly cover something that’s relatively new in society – technology and video games!

What tools do you use to record, edit and publish your podcast?
I use Adobe Audition to add music, voice overs, episode commentary, effects: the whole package!

What advice do you have for others looking to make a podcast?
My advice to other podcasters is to really put your full energy into making it the best publication possible. If you are nervous, I was too! GO FOR IT! Podcasting is a way to express your opinions! Podcasting isn’t just a hobby – it’s a real passion!
