Please describe your podcast and why you thought it would be a good topic to have a podcast on.
Our podcast topics are on sports at Judson High School. We have done three podcasts this school year primarily on Judson Football because it is a big deal at our school.

How has the podcast changed since the first show? What are some things you’ve learned and done to make it better?
It has changed but it has changed because we don’t do them very often. We are new to podcasts so technical difficulties are an issue. But we are changing into basketball season so our podcasts will be more about basketball, boys and girls, who are very successful at Judson.

What tools do you use to record, edit and publish your podcast?
We use a iRig Studio microphone that is placed at the center of a table where we talk. I edit the podcast using PremierePro and we publish our podcast on SoundCloud and post the link on Twitter and Facebook so our student body and community can listen to it.

What advice do you have for others looking to make a podcast?
My advice for people starting a podcast is that your equipment doesn’t have to be fancy or high tech. Make sure there is no dead space and that you always have something to talk about. Have an outline or a list of what you are going to talk about so you don’t stumble on your words.
