Add a menu of web links students frequently use to your website to help drive a little extra traffic

One easy way to boost the number of people visiting your site it to give them an additional reason to visit.

Our school moved to Canvas last year as an LMS and students had a heck of a time remembering what the URL was to get to the site and were essentially Googling it every time they needed to get there from a different computer.

Your news site should provide a service for your readers and give them all of their frequently used URLs in one nice, easy to find space on your student news site. This could be as part of your main menu or it could be a sidebar widget on your site that houses all of the links.

Not only will many students appreciate this, it will also draw a few more eyeballs to the great content housed on your site.

Here are a list of things you could add to that list:

  • LMS Login (Canvas, Google Classroom, etc.)
  • School Library
  • Local Library
  • School Activity Site
  • District Calendar
  • Study Island
  • School Email
  • Gradebook

What else is on your list?
