Audio won’t go into your Adobe Premiere timeline but video will? Check this setting to see if it’s the fix

I’ve had this problem a few times — I go to drag a clip onto my Adobe Premiere timeline and only the video ends up showing up. There’s no audio — even when I’m absolutely sure there is audio on the clip.

The issue came up again the other day, so I finally googled it and came up with a very simple answer. Somehow, my A1 track targeting had been deselected. All I had to do was select the A1 button and the problem was fixed.
