Hootsuite Blog Shares Tools for Creating Social Media Images

Let me be the first to say that this post was written more than a year ago, however, I just stumbled on it and picked up a few new tools in the process so I figured the masses might benefit from this find as well.

Images play a critical role in posts on websites and help drive reader engagement on social platforms. While applications like Photoshop and Illustrator are great for creating images, it’s great having some tools in your belt that are a bit more user friendly, allow you to create things quickly and look good in the process.

This blog post from Hootsuite shares 16 such tools.

While there are many I was familiar with and use frequently like Canva (desktop, iOS versions)and Infogr.am (desktop), there were some new ones in the mix that I wasn’t aware of. Notably, I was most excited to find Hootsuite Enhance (iOS). The app makes creating social image from your camera roll a snap, sizing things quickly and easily for best display for everything from Twitter and Facebook posts to Pinterest and Instagram. While there are lots of tools and sizing charts that can help with this, Hootsuite Enhance makes the process super simple for your web and social teams and may just be a tool you and your staff were looking for.
