SPOT 127 is the youth media center of KJZZ 91.5 FM, the NPR affiliate in Phoenix. We are an educational outreach program that provides low-income and at-risk teenagers with mentoring and instruction in multimedia production. We established the Korva Coleman Excellence Awards in 2013 in honor of Coleman, a newscaster at NPR who grew up in the Maryvale neighborhood where our center is located.
