NHSJC registration is open for the April 2022 conference that will take place in Los Angeles

The 2022 Spring JEA/NSPA National High School Journalism Convention is April 7-9, 2022, in Los Angeles.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required for each attendee, speaker and vendor. Learn more about registration requirements on the convention website.

The convention offers hundreds of instructional sessions from industry professionals and educators, keynote speaker Hilde Lysiak, on-site contests and award presentations, publication exchanges, networking events and more.

Registration is open with early bird pricing. Registration closes March 28. No on-site registration will be offered as part of our safety protocols.

Hotel reservations open Feb. 8 and early-bird pricing ends March 1.

Aaron Manfull

Aaron is in his 26th year of advising student media. He is currently the Director of Student Media at Francis Howell North High School in St. Charles, Missouri. He is the Journalism Education Association Digital Media Chair and co-Director of Media Now. He is the 2023 JEA Teacher Inspiration Award Winner and is a former Dow Jones News Fund National Journalism Teacher of the Year.
