EssayTagger.com a handy Common Core standards rubric maker

I found EasyTagger.com while searching for a speaking/listening rubric for an English assignment, but its uses for journalism abound.

It took me only a few minutes to figure out and produce a rubric aligned with common core standards. Moreover, the rubric can be either downloaded and printed, or saved and shared.

I really couldn’t believe my dumb luck. Neither will you, perhaps.

This is definitely a keeper for aligning and scoring journalism lesson plans with 21st century standards.

I found it adaptable, which can be unusual in a rubric maker designed for grading essays.
