11 Tips for Creating Better Online Video from SmartBlogs.com

This article came out over the summer, but I figured the masses would benefit from a post more now rather than in late July. It’s from SmartBlogs.com and it’s titled “11 Tips for Creating Better Online Video.” While this post isn’t specifically geared toward high school journalists, it’s a nice, simple list of tips for capturing online video. I think it would be especially useful to those programs that are just testing the waters of video production.

The list includes everything from picking the right story and using a tripod to avoiding wide shots and rushing through the editing process.

Go to the link and share it with your video team. After you check it out, come back and tell us what you thought. What do you think is the most beneficial tip and what tip do you think should have made the top 11 that didn’t?
