We have many different types of episodes. Our current series is investigating astrology. Previously we covered why students are so susceptible to conspiracy theories.

How has the podcast changed since the first show? What are some things you’ve learned and done to make it better?
Ask better questions. Wait for good answers. Short teasers at the beginning of the episode.

What tools do you use to record, edit and publish your podcast?
RODEcaster Pro, 4 mics, and Anchor for editing and publishing.

What advice do you have for others looking to make a podcast?
Do it! If nothing else it teaches you how to be a better interviewer!

Aaron Manfull

Aaron is in his 26th year of advising student media. He is currently the Director of Student Media at Francis Howell North High School in St. Charles, Missouri. He is the Journalism Education Association Digital Media Chair and co-Director of Media Now. He is the 2023 JEA Teacher Inspiration Award Winner and is a former Dow Jones News Fund National Journalism Teacher of the Year.
