How to download videos from Youtube or Vimeo
Ever needed a video only to find you deleted the version on your hard drive and the only version of the video that you can find has been uploaded to your staff’s Youtube or Vimeo account — and you don’t have the account information to go in and download the video? No worries, there are some quite a few options out there that can help you grab the video you need. This was actually the subject recently on the RTNDF Listserv and here are a few options that work well and were recommended:

Keepvid.com maybe the easiest way to download YouTube videos, But to download YouTube videos with this site, it will ask you to “download Java” to your computer. In comparison of these youtube downloading sites or free apps, I would choose Acethinker video downloader, it’s a web-based application, you don’t have to download or install anything.
