Looking to upgrade your iOS camera app? Snag Obscura 2 free until Sept. 25

Obscura 2 is a $4.99 photo app that you can get for free until Sept. 25, 2018, in the Apple Store app.

I saw the app offer mentioned on Lifehacker in a post this week and had to check it out. The instructions in that article are pretty clear on how to get it, I just got caught up on looking for it in the App Store but you need to go in to the Apple Store app instead to find the offer. If you just search for the app in the App Store it will show up as $4.99 and charge you. If you go through the Apple Store and redeem the offer, the app will download for free for you.

If you’re looking for some more manual settings like focus, shutter speed and ISO changes, this app has it. It’s also got a plethora of other tools from filters to overlay grid displays to help you get the perfect shot.

For the price of free, it’s definitely worth a look, especially if you’ve never splurged on a camera app that gives you a little more control with some of the settings.
