Using Screencast-Omatic and a YouTube Channel to Flip a Journalism Class

This year, I have a goal to create more videos using Screen-Cast-O-Matic like the following one and uploading the how-to videos to my YouTube channel.

This strategy is referred to as a Flipped classroom where students can watch tutorials or lessons from home and then come ready to try and complete the task in class. This has also proved helpful in past lessons where students need to go back or slow down the how-to process to work at their own speed.

Follow along on my YouTube channel as I post more this year.
