Michelle Packansky-Brock’s learning community a must — just do it!

Michalle Pacansky-Brock’s book, “Best Practices for Teaching with Emerging Technolgies” was published in 2013.

If you haven’t connected with Michelle Pacansky-Brock yet, it’s time.   Join her community now.

She’s a leading author and teacher for emerging technology in post-secondary education.  And, since Common Core is all about college and career readiness, she’s completely applicable to everything we do as advisers and teachers.

Her recent “Learn with Michelle” broadcast, hosted by Academic Partnerships, discusses a blend of Google hangouts on air and Voice Thread.

Having recently purchased one of her e-books and connected to her learning community, I heard about the above discussion and wondered, since I would be traveling while the live version was recorded, would it be archived. I sent my query, and within minutes heard back personally from her that it would.  I immediately felt part of her community.

Her modeling of creating an engaging community is the single most reason she should be followed as a role model for on-line news sites and teaching digital journalism.

Thank you for this kind gesture of support. 🙂 I am writing to share that my Learn with Michelle series and Google+ Community has ended, as a result of my recent departure rom Academic Partnerships.

I will, of course, remain an active online learner and encourage you to connect with me on Google+, Twiiter (@brocansky) or follow my blog: teachingwithoutwalls.com.

I’m looking forward to returning to consulting, teaching, and completing my EdD. Keep me in mind for speaking opportunities at your ed tech related events.

    best wishes,
    Michelle Pacansky-Brock
