Mark Webber of Vidal M. TreviƱo School of Communications and Fine Arts in Laredo, Texas, shared this post with me a couple weeks ago. It’s a great piece that highlights cheap and useful tools for entrepreneurial journalists. What Mark noticed, is that these are some great tools for scholastic programs as well to not only cut costs but to be more efficient with their work. Tools discussed include: Evernote, Google Tools, InvoiceBubble, Freshbooks, We Transfer, Cloud App, Dropbox, Mozy, BackBlaze and Carbonite.
It’s a great post by Jeremy Caplan and I already emailed my business team to have them look at the two invoicing programs. That’s a definite need in my newsroom.
