Students can use the #freetotweet hashtag Dec. 15 for a chance to win $5,000

Students are eligible to win one of 22 $5,000 scholarships that are being offered for supporting the First Amendment on Dec. 15 by sending a tweet with a #freetotweet hashtag.

Dec. 15 is National Bill of Rights Day and the 220th anniversary of the First Amendment.

The Free to Tweet campaign and scholarship program are funded by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
